This Midterm Election, Vote Against the Leftist Religious Cult 

Religious Signs on the Side of the Road

You have seen the sign as you drive by. It reads: “Science Is Real; Black Lives Matter; No Human Is Illegal; Love Is Love; Women’s Rights are Human Rights; Kindness Is Everything.” Recently, while on vacation in Virginia, I saw this sign in the front yard of a United Methodist Church. The Left’s embrace of these statements is truly religious in nature, and any religion opposed to biblical Christianity is led by Satan (1 Corinthians 10:20). What is implied in this religion is that those on the Right don’t believe in science. They don’t value the lives of black people. They view foreigners as subhuman. They don’t truly want to allow people to love each other. They view women as second-class citizens, and lastly, those on the Right are enormously judgmental as they tell people on the Left that they’re wrong. 

If these things were true, then those on the Right would indeed be disgusting people. But in each statement is found a lie meant to deceive those who read it. These statements attack not merely political conservatives, but the foundation on which political conservatism was built: biblical Christianity. For decades, the base of the Republican Party has been Evangelicals who believe the Bible is true and salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. Make no mistake, these signs on the side of the road are an attack on the Word of God and His design. 

“Science Is Real” 

The first charge that Leftists make is that they are the “party of science.” They appeal to their belief in the theory of evolution and climate change, both of which they assert as scientific fact. Leftist scientists have pushed these complementary views for decades. But Scripture makes it clear that God created everything out of nothing (Genesis 1). Something cannot come from nothing, and God, in his infinite power, is the one who created everything visible and invisible (Colossians 1:16). Furthermore, evolution is impossible because, for evolution to be true, death needed to precede the Fall. But it was Adam and Eve’s sin that brought death into the world (Genesis 2:17). Some theistic evolutionists have stated that God used the process of evolution in Creation, but having death before sin makes this Scripturally impossible. Furthermore, when scientists look at the world, there has never been a shred of evidence produced showing that Darwinian evolution has actually occurred. For something to be scientific, it needs to be observed, tested, and repeated, but this has never taken place. 

Climate change is the belief that carbon emissions are warming the atmosphere to the point that the planet will be destroyed. Scientists who have observed climate trends over the centuries and recent decades have found minor warming, but nothing drastic in nature. On top of that, followers of Christ know how the world is going to end, and it will not be by humans damaging the atmosphere. Scripture teaches that Christ will return (Revelation 19:11-21) and will reign forever, and God will create a new Heaven and a new Earth (Revelation 21-22). It is solid conservatives that are actually following science as the Word of God teaches, and the world around us gives testimony to. On the other hand, Leftists, in their religion, have invented a pseudo-science that kicks God out of the equation to serve their evil purposes. 

“Black Lives Matter” 

What is implied in this statement is that political conservatives do not value those with black skin. But at the root of the BLM movement is a Marxist understanding of the world where whites are irredeemable oppressors. The focus is not equality before the law (Leviticus 19:15), but equality of outcomes. Scripturally, if Someone looks down on another because of the color of their skin, the sin of partiality is being committed (James 2:1-9). But because conservatives do not go along with the narrative of a systemic oppression of blacks by whites, this means that to oppose the Marxist teaching of Critical Race Theory is to be participating in oppression. But there is great hypocrisy among the Black Lives Matter crowd. Blacks make up the number one demographic of aborted babies by a significant margin, and BLM will never defend them. Clearly, there is an evil agenda at work here where black lives, especially at their most vulnerable, are not truly the concern.  

“No Human Is Illegal” 

What is implied is that political conservatives do not value immigrants, specifically the ones who illegally entered the country. But of course, this cannot be further from the truth. Political conservatives have long believed that immigration can be good for America, but only immigration pursued through a legal, sensible process. If someone crosses the border illegally, then a crime has been committed. Nations have borders (Acts 17:26), and the governing authorities over those nations rightly need to know who is entering their land, so strong borders are necessary (Nehemiah 3-6). The people emigrating to America need to respect its laws and history (Numbers 15:15-16). The citizenship process is meant to protect a nation’s present and preserve its future. On the other hand, the Left has tried to let almost anyone from anywhere in and provide them with immediate amnesty. There is an evil purpose behind this. Those who are let in, without going through a process of citizenship, with no expectation of what kind of citizens they would be, will vote for and put those in power that unlawfully let them in. 

“Love Is Love”

The implication is that political conservatives do not truly love. This is stated because those on the Right have historically followed what Scripture has said concerning marriage being between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24), while the Left has declared that people can marry whomever they would like. A clear sign of the downfall of a society is when homosexuality has become accepted in the public square (Romans 1:24-27). This is one of the chief sins that led the Lord to send fire down from heaven on Sodom and Gomorrah as they rejected his clear design in nature (Jude 7). To go outside the boundaries of love that God has put in place is to despise the Lord and his design. It is a clear act of rebellion. As solid political conservatives have followed God’s design in marriage, they have truly loved, as they have understood that “God is love” (1 John 4:8) and He is the one who sets the standard concerning what love truly is (John 17:17). 

“Women’s Rights Are Human Rights”

The implication here is that political conservatives view women as inferior to men. But what women’s rights do they have in mind? Chief among them is what they call a “Women’s right to choose,” or, more accurately, a woman’s right to end the life of her child in the womb. This, of course, entirely neglects the right of the unborn child to live. Political conservatives understand that women are not inferior to men, are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), and are an important part of creation just as men are. The rights that women have must be those that are given by God and not those invented by Leftists to further their agenda.

“Kindness Is Everything” 

This implies that as political conservatives call out the absurdity and evil of the Left, this makes them unkind. The go-to verse that those on the Left immediately use (completely out of context) are Jesus’ words, “Judge not, that you be not judged” (Matthew 7:1), implying that it’s unloving to ever tell someone they are wrong. But the apostle Paul wrote that love “rejoices with the truth” (1 Corinthians 13:6). While the Lord calls his people to “speak the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15), you cannot love someone if you affirm that person in their falsehood. It is not unkind to rebuke those ruining themselves and their nation with their destructive beliefs. On the contrary, it is the absolutely loving thing to do. 

Vote Against This Evil 

We are fast approaching the 2026 midterm election, with Senate and House seats on the line both nationally and at the state level. We also have important governor races in swing states that will determine what direction certain states are heading. Considering the Left’s absurdity and depravity, every Presidential election and every midterm is incredibly important. These aspiring leaders cannot be given power. With the Left at the helm, there will be an increase in fraud, poverty, crime, homelessness, abortions, and general immorality. 

On top of all of this, these Marxist leaders desire power above all else. The propaganda Leftist leaders tell the masses to villanize those on the Right is meant to propel them into power. As they gain power, they will oppress those that love God and his law. With the great increase of wickedness in this present time, every election has become a battle for our nation and what is true, good, and beautiful. You may have some frustrations with President Trump and the Republican Party, which at some level we all do, but to sit out this election is to advance the agenda that desires to transform this nation that we love into something it has never been. Our nation was built upon biblical principles, and every election is an opportunity for the Left to tear at our foundation. 

So, get out and vote, and encourage others to do the same. Do your part to stand against the Leftist religious cult.
